The Future Sounds of swing is a unique kind of Lindy Hop camp, designed specifically for studenty types, it is hosted at Leeds University Union in association with LUU SwingSoc. We recruit professional teachers for classes in beginner and intermediate level Lindy Hop as well as some completely unprofessional ones to give classes in who-knows-what. There are also parties on the Friday and Saturday nights.
The Future Sounds of Swing is a tightly run ship to make it as inexpensive as possible for you. In the same spirit we will host many of the visiting students as possible with our dancers.
We are very excited about this chance to grow the younger Lindy Hop scene in the UK (especially in the North) and to give beginner and intermediate dancers an affordable opportunity to experience the camp atmosphere and variety of teaching.
